4T Double RO Water Treatment Plant RO Purification Machine for Pharmaceutical
Description of EDI System
EDI, also called electric desalination is a new ultra pure water technology which gradually developed in the 20th century, which combines electric dialysis technology and ions exchange technology. It is using the selectivity penerate function of anion and cation membrane and exchange function of ions exchange resin, under direct current electric field to make ion directed migration. Finally to make deep desalination of water. In the same time, hydrogen ion and hydroxide ion which produced when water ionized will regeneration, and it can produce ultra pure water continuously.

Working Process of Pharmaceutical Water Purification System
Raw water → raw water pressure pump → multi-media filter → activated carbon filter → water softener → precision filter → first-stage reverse osmosis → PH adjustment → intermediate water tank → second-stage reverse osmosis (reverse osmosis membrane surface with positive charge )→Purification water tank→Pure water pump→UV sterilizer→Ozone generator→Microporous filter→Water point
What's Two-stage RO System?
The two-stage reverse osmosis equipment is also called second-stage reverse osmosis. The raw water is pressurized and sent to the pretreatment system for coarse filtration. After entering the precision filter, it is filtered and sent to the first-stage reverse osmosis system through the first-stage high-pressure pump. The water is then sent to the secondary reverse osmosis system by a secondary high pressure pump to produce product water, called two-stage reverse osmosis.
EDI Ultra Pure Water RO Water Treatment Plant
EDI equipment is applied after the reverse osmosis system to replace the traditional mixed bed ion exchange technology (MB-DI) to produce stable ultrapure water. Compared with mixed ion exchange technology, EDI technology has the following advantages:
1. Stable water quality;
2. Easy to realize fully automatic control;
3. No shutdown due to regeneration;
4. No need for chemical regeneration;
5. Low operating cost;
6. Small plant area;
7. No sewage discharge.
Applications of Pharmaceutical Water Purification System
1. Production of large infusion, injection, oral liquid, etc.;
2. Extraction, washing, injection and capsule production of raw materials;
3. Production of eye drops and care solution;
4. hospital hemodialysis room, biochemical analysis room, operating room sterile water;
5. multi-effect distilled water machine raw water, washing water;
6. water for cosmetics process water, washing supplies;
7. biochemical drug products, diagnostic reagents.
FAQ
Q: What is EDI (Electro deionization) ?
A: EDI (Electro deionization) is a process in which the mixed ion exchange resin is used to adsorb the anions and cations in the feed water, and the adsorbed ions are removed through the anion and cation exchange membranes under the action of DC voltage.
