Description of EDI in Pharmaceutical Water Purification System

EDI (Electro deionization) is a process in which the mixed ion exchange resin is used to adsorb the anions and cations in the feed water, and the adsorbed ions are removed through the anion and cation exchange membranes under the action of DC voltage. . EDI organically combines the traditional electrodialysis technology ED and ion exchange technology IE. It is a process that continuously removes ions from raw water without using acid and alkali, and uses DC power to continuously produce high-quality pure water. EDI technology is mainly used for deep desalination of reverse osmosis water, and it has been widely used in many fields such as electronics, electric power, biology, pharmacy, chemical industry and so on.

Main Process of Two Stage Reverse Osmosis System with EDI System

Raw Water Pump Provide the pressure to silica sand filter/active carbon filter;

What's Two-stage Pure RO System?

The two-stage reverse osmosis equipment is also called second-stage reverse osmosis. The raw water is pressurized and sent to the pretreatment system for coarse filtration. After entering the precision filter, it is filtered and sent to the first-stage reverse osmosis system through the first-stage high-pressure pump. The water is then sent to the secondary reverse osmosis system by a secondary high pressure pump to produce product water, called two-stage reverse osmosis.
